日本が先頭に立ってすすめようとするのも、よい考えだ。

しかし、それは他の国がみな協力してくれることが前提だ。各国とも事情があり、削減目標が一律というわけにもいかないだろう。それはわかる。

だが、京都議定書はあまりにも不公平である。途上国には一切削減目標を課さないのはおかしい。特に、大量のガス排出国、中国が途上国扱いを受けて野放しなのは、絶対に許せない。最大の排出国、米国も参加していない。

中国、米国が日本と同じ程度の削減目標を課されないうちは、日本は京都議定書から一時離脱した方がよい。

なぜかアメリカ人は日本を訪れるというと（たとえそれが東京への出張であっても）、京都がセットになっています。日本人としては京都を知らないと国際人としてはずかしいくらいです。下手すると相手（ガイジン）の方が京都のことをよく知ってたり、訪れた回数が多かったりしますから。。
別に議定書のことを知らないでも生きてはいけます、偉そうなことを言っているのかもしれませんが、でもこれからは京都に住んでいることを誇りに思って欲しいです。
