みなさんはウィンドウズの「タスクバー」をどこに置いているだろうか。

タスクバーとは「スタート」ボタンがある横に長い帯のことだが、デフォルト (工場出荷時のまま) だと、タスクバーは画面の一番下にある。

実は、タスクバーは画面の右にあった方が、慣れれば使いやすい。

なぜなら、PC の画面は縦よりも横に長い一方で、横書きの文章は縦方向が長い方がよい。そのため画面の一番下にあるタスクバーは本来邪魔である。なのでタスクバーを下よりも右に置いた方が限られた画面を利用する効率がいいのである。
